Hey! I am Rachel— a User Experience and Interface Designer, Illustrator, Artist, Writer, Musician, Performer, and Creative. I have always been fascinated by human nature and its expression; consequently I studied psychology at the University of British Columbia in Canada. After earning my Bachelor’s degree I began exploring creation and performance as a stand-up comedian, rock band member, actor, model, artist, song-writer, and dancer. I established myself as a visual artist and educator, exhibiting and teaching at galleries and through my private studio.

Desiring to further develop my artistic abilities in application with my psychology background I began studying communication and graphic design through the British Columbia Institute of Technology, then at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology to specialize in User Experience and User Interface Design. I have since been travelling the world working as a freelance UX & UI designer. In my free time I enjoy West Coast Swing dancing and creating drawings inspired by the human form, live settings, and intersection of line and water.
